In just a little over a month Downton Abbey will start back up again. Last year I got addicted to the show after some down time due to flight delays and layovers. You could basically say that I caught up with the past 3 seasons in just two days. I was just a little addicted to it or sucked in.

Rice and red quinoa chili casserole

Two chili recipes back to back I must be crazy!  Crazy in love with chili that is.  Yesterday, it was all about a chili mac soup, but today I’m making a chili casserole that is going to rock your world.  In fact I loved this dish so much after the first bite that I...

Two bean chili mac

It’s a blizzard out there. No really, many cities are experiencing frigid temperatures due to the polar vortex. I’ve already experienced the first snow of the season and I’m assuming I will see many more snow days.  Luckily it’s looking like clear roads ahead for this upcoming Thanksgiving. This Wednesday I’m loading up the car...

rumchata drink

In one week everyone will gather for a huge over the top Thanksgiving feast. I’ve shared the chicken dressing, turkey meatballs, cheesy pull apart sausage bread but the thing you might need most is a drink. A stiff one at best. Yes, I’m here today to share this chocolate marshmallow rumchata drink that will...

Pear and apple galette

Walking into my grandmother’s house as a child would leave me craving homemade tortillas, fresh cookies and a small hint of rose lotion. My grandmother was an avid baker, lover of cooking and a heart for all roses. She had this table to the side of her kitchen and I remember it always being...

Peppermint chocolate fudge

It’s Monday, November 17th the year 2014 and I’m officially turning myself in for decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving. Christmas is BY FAR my favorite holiday of the year and I would break out the décor in August if I could. Don’t get me wrong I love Thanksgiving and what it is all about...

Cheesy meatball calzone

Cheesy meatball calzone for a NewTraDish recipe. I was invited to be a brand representative for Ragú® and have been compensated for this post for SocialStars.  All opinions are my own. Lately, I’ve been going on and on about my LOVE for fall. Suddenly overnight it’s no longer fall and we have welcomed winter with...

Grape goat cheese flatbread

It’s already November and people are gearing up for Thanksgiving and Christmas. My candles are lit, filling the house with the aroma of pumpkin spice, caramel latte and apple cinnamon. I just might have three different candles burning right now as we speak. For the upcoming holiday season I’ve teamed up with the California...
