White Wine Pasta with Tomato Sauce

There are nights when I like to pick up the kids from school and come home to a nice dinner already made for our family.  Who am I kidding? I work from home and my days usually consist of making food around the clock for everyone.  If I want dinner made, well then I need to get off my high horse and get it done.  Some meals take an hour or more to complete while others only need 30 minutes or less.  Sometimes the dinners that get thrown together so quickly or the ones that my family devours the most and quickly becomes our favorites on a monthly basis.

At least once a week our family will typically eat International favorites like Mexican food, pizza and indulge into some pasta.  This past week I busted out some ingredients for this white wine

Honey Rosemary Cocktail

Start your party or night off with this tasty Honey Rosemary Cocktail. It was Saturday night and we finally had a couple of hours to make a getaway for a much-needed date night.  The in-laws were watching the kids for an overnight sleepover and a babysitter was at the house watching the baby.  We...

Greek Souvlaki Beef Kabobs

Right out of college I moved to London to work through a program called Bunac.  I was only there for a few months before I came back home for good because of a family emergency.  Just after arriving in London a few days, I met up with some friends and we took off for...

Mexican Stuffed Pretzels

As I sit at a table at my local coffee shop, I can’t help but stare at people when they come in.  I literally could sit in a store, coffee shop, library or mall and just watch people for hours on end.  It’s like you want to peek into their lives and get a...

Rosemary Olive Bread

Break into a slice or two of fresh, homemade Rosemary Olive Bread. After being picked up from preschool-kindergarten I would go to my babysitter’s house until my parents could come and get me.  I would throw back a couple drinks of Tang and then wait patiently for the homemade bread to come out of...

Gaylord Texan

Packing up the car and pulling away from the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas was one of the hardest things to do.  Even the kids were disappointed in us leaving and were begging for just one more night.  Unfortunately like most adults you have to get back home and continue with everyday life. When we...

Sheet Pan S'mores

Like the rest of the states, we are experiencing a major heat wave in our area.  Temperatures are soaring above 100 degrees F and the sweat starts to pour out the minute you step outside.  No one has time to sit around a hot, blazing fire these days, so I decided to bring these...

Nutella Walnut Roll

Did everyone enjoy their long holiday weekend?  We stayed in town and spent most of our time eating, swimming and playing with fireworks.  I almost needed a nap today to recoup after the Fourth of July festivities from all the hustle and bustle. My only problem with fireworks is the need to pop them...
