pomegranate moscow mule

Guys we are almost in the single digits to Christmas. I am having a total freak out moment because not all gifts are bought and I’ll probably be wrapping the night before. In years past I’ve done so good but with our family coming down with bronchitis it literally wiped me out for two whole weeks. Thank goodness for online shopping and lots of sales after Thanksgiving.

Stress leads me to come up with fun drinks like this pomegranate Moscow mule. It’s screaming holiday cheer and if this doesn’t cheer you up then I honestly don’t know what will.

Just being honest….

My first time to drink a Moscow mule was this past Thanksgiving at my sister’s house. In fact she made a HUGE pitcher full and we sipped on it all day long. Leaving her house left me wanting the drink along with those awesome copper mugs. Luckily I found some at my local World Market store and bought them just in time for my cravings to kick in again.

Coconut Rice with California Raisins, Pomegranate and Hazelnuts

As Christmas approaches people are gathering their thoughts on presents, decorations and meals.   Sometimes we have the more traditional meal including: turkey, rolls, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and a plethora of dessert choices. Sundried tomato and goat cheese roasted chicken

The countdown to Christmas is quickly approaching and if you are like me I’m behind on everything except my holiday meal planning. The shopping still needs to take place, stocking stuffers still need to be bought and I can’t forget the countless hours of wrapping that need to take place. I almost forgot about Christmas...

best lasagna recipe with meat sauce

Simply saying that something is “the best” is a pretty BOLD statement. I’m also going to repeat myself when I say this is the best lasagna recipe with meat sauce you will ever need or have to make. Now some of you are going to disagree with the ingredients in this recipe and that’s...

Peppermint Patty Chocolate Cookies

8 days into December and I’m only half way through my Christmas shopping. Most people are in my shoes right now but I’m kind of in a freak out moment. Why you may ask? I’m usually done at this time or trying to get one or two more presents. This past week I spent...

Christmas munch

Why is it that we can walk into a salon, sit down with a complete stranger and blab to the world about our lives? My hair appointments usually take about 2-3 hours and my stylist can get so much out of me in that amount of time it is crazy. It’s also fun to...

Basil Pesto Butter

No I didn’t churn my own butter for todays post but that would be really rad.  This is just an “elevated” version of your typical stick butter with flavor.  Now it’s time to let you know how I came to make basil pesto butter. It was a cold, wintery day here in town.  My...
