I’m sharing French’s® in my life as part of a sponsored series for Socialstars™” #FrenchsCrowd #FrenchsMustard
On Monday, summer break is officially done for our family. There is no more an active summer bucket list even though I have more items I want to check off. We’ve done our fair share of swim lessons, lake trips, vacations and just being together as a family.
As we gear up for the first day of school, I’m sharing these EASY Hot Dog Pretzel Bites. I teamed up with Frenchs using their Classic Yellow Mustard for this simple afternoon recipe. No corners cut, no weird stuff, just the bright yellow that brings food to life. Fun Fact: Did you know that their yellow mustard is 100% natural? Yes, stone ground with no artificial flavors. Simple ingredients to make a fun afternoon snack with the kids. In fact, my kids come home most days starving and this is just what they need. You can even roll it into a dinner option as well.
These hot dog pretzel bites take about 15 minutes to make and it’s also a great recipe to get the kids involved. Mine helped cut the pizza dough and helped seal the pouch before going into the boiling water.
Once other neighborhood kids find out what snacks you are serving they are going to be begging to come visit.

- 10 cups water
- 1/2 cup baking soda
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Slice pizza dough in 1 inch size square pieces. Top each square with a hot dog slice and a pinch of cheese. Bring the corners together to create a sealed pouch. Repeat until all dough is used.
Bring water and baking soda to a boil. Add the filled dough to the pot for 15 seconds and then remove with slotted spoon. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
