Break out the florals not for their smell or looks but for this delicious Floral Whiskey Sour. In partnership with Pompeian Olive Oil.

Floral Whiskey Sour

Hey friends and happy Friday! Do you ever catch yourself wondering what a specific ingredient/product is at the grocery store? Edible flowers were one of those ingredients for me a few years ago. I’ve been experimenting more and more with them and since it’s a popular trend right now, I decided to incorporate them into this floral whiskey sour cocktail.

The last few times I’ve been checking out the checker always ask if they are good and what they taste like it. I kind of chuckle and reply, “like a flower.” I mean that is what they are but just the kind you can eat.

Don’t knock it, until you try it.

In partnership with Pompeian, this drink was made with their White Wine Vinegar. It has a crisp, clean taste that blends perfectly with the Pompeian family of olive oils and is a great addition to any beverage. You can also use it for herb dressings, salads, sauces and shellfish.

The edible flowers in this cocktail can be used mainly for a garnish but don’t be afraid to try them out.

After your cocktail, you can indulge in these Edible Flower Chocolate Truffles.
