This weekend I was craving something really sweet and chocolaty.  Cookies were going to have to happen since that is all I had in my pantry to make, since I am too lazy to go to the store today.  It was also something that I wanted to make at 9AM in the morning.  Yes, thats correct instead of craving a really delicious breakfast I wanted chocolate.  IMMEDIATELY!
Of course I started to make cookies, but I wanted to change it up a bit from your normal chocolate chip cookie.  This cookie is really chewy hence the name and has white baking chips.  You might want to have a cup of milk on hand just in case you get thirsty.  Better yet you can dip the cookie into the milk.  Ok, I am going to have to wrap this up so I can go get my cookie fix!
ENJOY!

Chewy Hershey’s Cookies
Makes 18-20 large cookies

Ingredients:
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup Hershey’s cocoa
2 cups flour
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups sugar
1 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 tsp butter flavor
1 1/2 cups white baking chips

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In small bowl combine salt, baking powder, cocoa, and flour.

In another mixing bowl combine eggs, vanilla, sugar, butter, and butter flavor.  Beat the ingredients until they are creamy.  Stir in the dry ingredients and then add the white baking chips.

Drop onto greased cookie sheet and lay about 2 inches apart.  Cook 8-10 minutes and then let them cool for about 2-3 minutes before moving to cookie wire rack.  When storing cookies place wax paper between cookies so they don’t stick.
