Spicy buttermilk onion rings with a buttermilk dressing for dipping.

Spicy Buttermilk Onion Rings

It’s time for another round of my Tried and True Series.  I’ve had so much fun featuring and making other food blogger recipes and letting you know that they are truly great recipes that you need to make at home.

I found today’s recipe on pinterest.  Not sure what I ended up searching but I came across this spicy onion rings recipe from Adrianna at A Cozy Kitchen.  I had been to Adrianna’s site before because I had found it when I first started out on Tasty Kitchen several years ago.

We have been doing a lot of grilling at our house lately even with the sweltering temperatures.  It’s been hamburgers, chicken, pork tenderloin and I knew that I wanted something to go along with the hamburgers.  I mean come on it’s either fries, tots or onion rings and the rings won this round.  You just can’t beat homemade onion rings that turn out better than the restaurants.

After I decided to make these rings for my Tried and True Series, I reached out to Adrianna asking if she would answer a couple of fun questions.  Here you go!

What is your favorite meal?
Paella

What is your favorite beverage?
A Spicy Michelada

Tell me a random fact about yourself.
I’m awesome at procrastinating

What do you like most about having a blog?
My favorite part of having a blog is the connectivity to all of these people who I don’t know. I love my internet friends.

Savory or sweet?
I love eating savory things but I like making sweet things more.

If you could cook for a celebrity, who would that be?
Uhh… Martha Stewart
