Vanilla Pear Infused Water

Vanilla Pear Infused Water

At the end of each year I check out the latest and greatest trends for the upcoming year. This list can contain vegetables, spices, ethnic regions and possible recipe ideas. One of these trends is infused cocktails and water. It’s almost a shock that something so simple could be a hot commodity this year.

So I decided to jump on the infused water bandwagon to bring you this Vanilla Pear Infused Water recipe.

Vanilla Pear Infused Water

Water is my all time favorite drink and I can’t get enough of it. You would be amazed at how much I can drink after having a baby and now that I’m breastfeeding. So the idea of adding a touch of fruit and a splash of vanilla thrilled me.

If you don’t have an actual vanilla bean don’t worry about adding one. The extra splash of vanilla will do the trick. You can also skip the splash by just opening up the vanilla bean and adding a couple of the seeds to the water. The option is up to you with this water.

Out of pears? Try adding some strawberries or your favorite fruit to the water. It’s refreshing and easy to make and holds up well in the refrigerator.
