Well, we survived the first day of school. One kid was super excited about starting Pre-K, the oldest was 5 minutes late after deciding he wanted to be dropped off and then changed last minute to me walking in with him. The little one in the bunch just hates school period. If it’s not my husband or me watching him then he is just plain miserable. I hope the rest of the week does not continue on this same path.
Tomorrow, I will be sharing this Sunrise Smoothie again with the kids to help give them an extra boost in the morning. We tested out the recipe this past weekend and I received two thumbs up from the family.
I teamed up with Dairy Max for this easy breakfast or snack Sunrise Smoothie. It can replace your breakfast meal or you can use it to accompany the breakfast you make for the kids. Smoothies made with milk are quick, simple, nutrient-rich, protein-packed, and portable—for even the pickiest of eaters in your house.
Did you know?
- At 8 grams of protein per glass, you would have to drink 8 cups of almond milk to match the protein in just 1 cup of cow’s milk.
- Dairy foods (cow’s milk, cheese, yogurt, etc.) pack a powerful nutrient punch with nine (9) essential nutrients, making them a healthy and delicious choice.
