Roasted Grapes and Goat Cheese Bites

Holiday Appetizers Roasted Grapes and Goat Cheese Bites

Do you ever look at an ingredient or product and think I can substitute it with something else? I do it all the time and these Roasted Grapes and Goat Cheese Bites were no different. We are a green grape family and so I insisted on roasting green grapes instead of red. It’s what we had in the refrigerator and I was bound to make it work. I’m here to tell you that roasted green grapes do not look appetizing and that you definitely don’t want them sitting on top of your pretty little appetizer bites.

Lesson learned.

Holiday Appetizers Roasted Grapes and Goat Cheese Bites

Now that we are in the middle of fall I can officially say that it’s all about the appetizers. You have Thanksgiving and Christmas to prep for along with football gatherings at your house or at a tailgate. It’s all about starting off the party on the right foot and serving good food to all your guests.

That’s where these easy Roasted Grapes and Goat Cheese Bites come in handy. For my second attempt I roasted red grapes and then paired them with goat cheese. Believe me that these two go better than the green grapes. It was then on to the base where I used Athens Mini Fillo Shells that are packaged and ready to serve. I warmed them up with the goat cheese just so the cheese would be nice and creamy which complimented the roasted grapes very well.

Now it’s time to get the invites out the door for a party in your home to serve these amazing Roasted Grapes and Goat Cheese Bites.
