Ice cream, ice cream we all scream for all ice cream!  I know I was screaming for ice cream the other night and it is one dessert that is hard for me to pass up.  This is a plain vanilla recipe with chocolate and candy added to it.  You can add any candy that you like.  The ice cream maker that I used was my kitchen-aid and I suggest freezing the bowl for at least 20 hrs before use.  ENJOY!


3 Cups Half and half cream
1 Tbsp Vanilla
2/3 cup granulated sugar
2 peanut butter cups chopped
1/2 cup of semisweet chocolate chips


Place cream in a large bowl and gradually whisk in sugar and then follow with vanilla
Cover and place in refrigerator for at least 3 hours and up to 3 days
Remove from refrigerator and add to ice cream maker and process as directed in ice cream owner’s manual
When there is 10 minutes left add chocolate chips to a double broiler and stir until melted
Spoon chocolate into ice cream when 5 minutes remain
After adding chocolate add chopped reeses
Serve immediately or store ice cream in air tight freezer container for 4 hours to make firmer

Yield: 6-8 servings
