It’s time again for The Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap. I participated in the swap last year with my naughty cookie and I couldn’t wait for the swap this year.
I love the month of December because there are so many dessert and cookies recipes to share. I’ve been wanting to make a chocolate cookie for quite some time and decided to do it for the cookie swap. It wouldn’t be complete without adding some extra flavor with the Christmas colored M&M’s.
This year all the participants of the cookie swap donated to the Cookies for Kids Cancer Program. Not only did we help raise money, but the company OXO matched up to our amount dollar for dollar. Hope you enjoy all the cookies that are circulating the web today!
ENJOY!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl whisk the butter and sugar together until creamy.
Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until well blended. Then add baking soda, salt, cocoa and flour.
Stir in the m&m’s. Using a cookie scoop or spoon place the dough onto a nonstick cookie sheet. Cook for 10 -12 minutes.

These cookies were awesome! I make m&m cookies with my son all the time, but not a chocolate variety. Will have to add them to our repertoire. Thank you so much!
