Holiday Sangria made with Primula

Holiday Sangria

This time last year I was sipping virgin sangria. Whomp, whomp, whomp. This year I get to drink the real thing and I loved every sip of it. I’m enjoying several glasses of this holiday sangria. You may be asking why it is called Holiday Sangria? Well, it got its name because it is almost the 4th of July and I used strawberries (red), white peach (white) and blueberries (blue) for the color scheme.

Holiday Sangria

A couple weeks back, I received the Primula 3-in-1 Flavor It beverage system. You can brew tea, infuse beverages and keep other drinks cold with the chill core. As you can see from the post, I decided to make sangria with this system. I was able to infuse the fruit flavor into the wine by keeping the fruit separate. I was then able to add more fruit to the individual glass right before serving. This kept my fruit from being too soggy and mushy from sitting in the wine all day. The only thing I wasn’t too keen on was that the pitcher didn’t fill to the top with the wine and club soda, so the fruit at the top did not get covered in the liquid. Oh well, that won’t stop me from making more sangria in this pitcher. I’m also excited to try out the tea brewer because WE LOVE TEA.
