French Toast

I typically eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast during the week, so every now and then it’s nice to get up and make a hot breakfast on the weekend. My mom used to make this for us, and it was definitely a favorite. This is a very simple recipe that anyone can do. I hope you enjoy it.
French Toast
Instructions
Heat pan on medium heat
In medium size bowl beat the eggs and milk
Soak each side of the bread in the milk mixture
Throw a small slice of butter into warmed pan (Once butter sizzles, the pan is hot enough)
Place soaked bread onto pan
Flip after 2 mins or until golden brown
Repeat for each piece
Coat with powdered sugar and syrup
Leave a Reply
Delicious! I leave my bread to soak up all the custard and then brown it on both sides and pop it in the oven to set the custard. Fantastic. I want some now.

I love French toast….it looks delicious! I have a variety of either cereal, yogurt or an egg. I don’t usually eat sweets in the morning, but when I do they are SUCH a treat!
