Is it possible to catch a cold back to back? This past week I came down with something and by the weekend, I was starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Yesterday morning I woke back up to a runny nose, low-grade fever and a headache that makes you want to bury yourself in the bed.

Every morning after I feed the baby I treat myself to a piping hot cup of coffee with a splash of creamer. The perfect drink to help keep me motivated and going every single day and without it, I would be useless.

There is no time for naps anymore…

Yesterday I felt like my cup of coffee needed a little something extra to it. I love an excellent Frappuccino, so why not make my own. After a couple of scoops of cookies and cream ice cream, International Delight creamer, and ice, my Frappuccino just needed a quick blend in the processor.

This Cookies and Cream Frappuccino can be devoured for breakfast, snack or dessert. Now I’m going to go reminisce about this special treat while I go bury myself back under the covers to recuperate. I’m all open to someone coming over to fix this again for me. It just might make me feel better.

Cookies and Cream Frappuccino

Cookies and Cream Frappuccino

Yield: 1-2 servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 1/2 cup nugget ice or 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup International Delight French Vanilla Creamer
  • 5 scoops cookies and cream ice cream
  • chocolate syrup

Instructions

Place all ingredients into a blender and pulse until all ice is broken up.  Serve in a cup and top with chocolate syrup.
