Brownie truffles with sprinkles

Brownie truffles with sprinkles

Dessert week is coming to a close. It’s been real, its been fun but I’m ready to share some savory meals.

The other day I talked my husband into going with me to the local mall on a Saturday. It’s only the busiest time to go especially when you highly dislike the crowds. Before walking out we decided to take Olivia into the candy store. It might have been more of a trip for me but the colors caught her attention. After browsing the store and deciding to purchase a red velvet truffle for her to eat, my husband ventured to the fudge area. Now mind you he is not a sweets person at all so him wanting something in the store was baffling to me. He decided to go with a homemade brownie fudge. I talked him into letting me have a little pinch of it.

While I was coming up with desserts for this week I pictured that brownie fudge from the mall. Instead of fudge I was going to make a truffle with brownie flavors. After rolling the truffles I decided that I didn’t like them plain and the only solution would be to roll them in sprinkles. Yes, life just got better with the addition of sprinkles.

Just in case you missed the other dessert week recipes here they are: candylicious junkyard cookies, speckled cake balls, chocolate cherry ice cream and bunny dirt cups.
