Take your hot chocolate to the next level with these fun and tasty Boozy Hot Chocolate Floats. Make them without alcohol for the kids.
There are days when I walk into the grocery store all prepared with a list in stowe. I’ve planned out our weekly menu, snacks and drinks for use throughout the week. Then there are other days like this past week where I walk in and have a disheveled look on my face because I don’t know where to start. I roam down the aisles just hoping that an idea comes to me and that I go home with at least one complete meal.
I knew I wanted to make an ice cream float. When I was young my babysitter would make me root beer floats, and I feel behind that I haven’t made them for my kids. This one would be a little different because I was making it for adults (kid version available as well.)
Boozy Hot Chocolate Floats came to mind when I was talking with my sister on the phone. Of course, my mind didn’t know what to think because I would be combining something warm with something cold. Well, as you can see it all worked out. It’s a winning combination actually, and I’m wondering why I didn’t try it out sooner.
You could even get real creative and make a Hot Chocolate Bar for your floats.
For these Boozy Hot Chocolate Floats, you are going to need hot chocolate (you can make your own or have the pre-packaged kind), vanilla ice cream, coffee liqueur and International Delight French Vanilla creamer. I almost forgot the toppings like cherries and sprinkles. Those are for kids and grownups.
