Sunday morning I woke up with the sun shining bright through the windows in the house. Daylight savings time is officially here and I am thrilled. We can actually venture out after dinner for a little stroll or I can actually take photos of our dinner before it gets too dark.
I wish that we would actually just keep the time and not do fall back. One is that it takes a toll on everyone to finally adjust to the real time. Second of all it’s hard to get your kids on new schedule. Third is I actually want to spend time outside after dinner and not feel like I need to go to bed at 7pm.
Because of this great change I’m making a toast today with this blood orange mint spritzer. I know it doesn’t have booze in it but you could add some to it. This drink is so easy to make that I couldn’t wait to share it with you all. We were making these left and right this past weekend in Deer Valley on my girl’s trip. It would be the perfect refresher for an afternoon drink, baby/bridal shower or gathering.
Now get to the store before they run out of blood oranges!
