Sweet and Sour Meatballs

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Heinz Vinegar. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and as a thank you for participating.

Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Ok, confession here. I usually don’t like sweet and sour things together. If they are separate then I enjoy both foods but once they come together for a dish I get turned off immediately. Another strange fact about me is that I love fruit but once it gets combined with bread, desserts or other recipes I don’t like it. Strange I know.

I was asked to try out some Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar filtered and unfiltered. Now, I have a TON of the regular Heinz vinegar products but I have never attempted to cook with the apple flavor. I checked out the Heinz website for recipe suggestions and I found this sweet and sour meatball recipe using the apple cider vinegar.

Done deal.

About Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar (Taken from Heinz Vinegar Website)

This recipe was also going to make me step outside of my comfort zone by adding sweet and sour together, not to mention adding pineapple to the meat. This dish was a BIG success and we were able to enjoy these meatballs the next night as well.

If you are looking for other ways to incorporate vinegar into your daily life check out this Pinterest board. Also, for this recipe I used the filtered Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar. sweet and sour meatballs
