First off it was awesome finally getting to meet you in real life! I’m so glad we had the chance to hangout and talk! Secondly, you read my mind. As I ate bite after bite of the glorious strawberry caprese bruschetta at the Whole Foods Brunch I told my husband I desperately needed to recreate these and blog about them! 🙂

Katie, I am so glad that we finally got to meet in person. I was looking for a simple recipe for this week and I thought of that dish at Whole Foods.

  2. Yummm!!! So bummed I had to miss this! Great meeting you this weekend lady! See you in Austin! 🙂

  3. Tieghan says:

Oh my gosh. Yes! This sound incredible! I love strawberries and I love caprese so the a perfect!!

  4. I’d be all over this! Strawberries are like my apple of the spring – if that makes any sense at all? 😉 So great meeting you and getting to hang out.

  5. Had such a fun time hanging out this weekend! I’ve always thought the same thing about the waste that goes along with slicing the top of the strawberry off, it makes the little bit of ocd in me kick in. Apparently, I need a strawberry huller!

  6. So glad you had a great time in Orlando! This bruschetta sounds scrumptious… would never think to pair strawberries and caprese but it’s genius!

  9. I just recreated this too! YUM! And what pretty shots!

  10. This caprese is so perfect for spring! I’m in love with my strawberry huller! I think my strawberry consumption has gone up ten-fold since getting my Oxo goodies 🙂

  11. A food blogging convention, how exciting! Maybe one day… I live so close to Orlando!
I usually use a straw to hull my strawberries, but that’s a cute gadget—nifty indeed. As for the recipe, it’s brilliant. I can’t wait to try this one out. So summery!

I love this sweet alternative to normal bruschetta. Great summer appetizer!

  13. OH YUM! This sounds SO GOOD!!
