It’s officially 2015 and I’m posting a strawberry banana yogurt smoothie recipe in January. Totally cliché but I’m not holding back and I’m going forward with this popular trend in the start of the New Year.
Who’s with me on the smoothie cliché ? If you’re not then just don’t tell me. (Wink, wink)
Why is it I watch what I eat one week before going on a cruise, but I’ve known for the past couple of months that I was going? It’s not like my body is going to change with the fact that I board on Saturday.
Yes, I’m a little late to the ballgame.
But for right now I’m going to PRETEND that my clothes will be loose after just one week. Now that I’ve got that covered its time to talk about this HEALTHY yogurt smoothie.
This past week I made this yogurt parfait with homemade granola. I had stocked up on Siggi’s yogurt and decided to make another little afternoon snack or drink for my family. We go through our fair share of fruit in my household and for this smoothie it was all about strawberries and bananas. Most of our smoothies that we make include almond milk because that is what my toddler drinks each morning.
Don’t forget to check out this berry smoothie.
