Six years ago I was sitting at lunch with some fellow co-workers when the waiter/waitress came to take our drink orders. I ordered my usual water with lemon while everyone else got diet cokes, tea and an Arnold Palmer drink.
Arnold Palmer? I won’t lie at first I thought it was an alcoholic drink and I thought my co-worker was courageous for ordering it right in front of our boss. I kept quiet and as soon as we got back to the office I googled an Arnold Palmer. All I can say is I’m happy that I didn’t make a reference to an alcoholic beverage since I now know it’s just tea and lemonade mixed together.
I make this refreshing drink every now and then at home but decided to use some fresh rosemary from the garden to spruce it up and add some extra flavor. It’s a winning trio and I highly recommend that you try it out too. Plus you get to make lemonade from scratch and have it on hand for your guests.
All I need to do now is remember to order one when I’m out at restaurant. I still go for my lemon with water but every now and then I need to change it up.
Add 1 cup water, sugar and rosemary to a small pot. Bring to a boil and stir until sugar has dissolved. Remove from pot and place everything in a container. Place in refrigerator until cold.
Remove the rosemary sprigs and add the rest of the water to the container along with lemon juice. Pour in the cold tea and stir.
Extra rosemary sprigs for top are optional for serving.

These are so fancy! And brilliant move on adding rosemary to an Arnold Palmer! xoxo
This is such a great summertime non-alcoholic sipper!
Such stunning photos! I love rosemary and that sprig is ever so pretty 🙂
Girl. I love Arnold Palmers as is but you just kicked it up a notch with the rosemary!
What a gorgeous drink! We like to order the alcoholic version (with vodka) – they’re called John Daly’s 🙂
Wow – didn’t even know about John Dalys.
