Peppermint White Hot Chocolate

Warm up by the fire with this Homemade Peppermint White Hot Chocolate drink. You only need three ingredients and it takes about 10 minutes from start to finish.

 Peppermint White Hot Chocolate

Ever since we went on the Polar Express this past year, my kids have been obsessed with drinking hot chocolate from their mugs. Nowadays it’s so easy to pop a hot chocolate pod in to the Keurig or stir in the package contents with some warm water and you have instant hot chocolate.

Sometimes we turn to the easy way of doing things instead of making something from scratch. It was time for me to show the kids how to make this simple White Hot Chocolate drink. It requires 3 ingredients and the additional toppings are optional but highly recommended. This twist on the classic drink doesn’t involve any cocoa and that help keeps the color white. If you are wanting more of the classic drink from scratch try this Peppermint Hot Chocolate drink.

Peppermint White Hot Chocolate

I started off with heavy whipping cream, then added in whole milk and white peppermint Lindor truffles. After the truffles melt you add the mixture to cups and top it off with marshmallows and crushed peppermint baking bits.

This Peppermint White Hot Chocolate is perfect for those cold days where you want to sip on something warm while staying cozy by the fire. Hope you enjoy this easy drink because I know my family loved being able to make it together.
