Over a year ago I had a co-worker bring these delicious crackers to work and I’ve been in love ever since. I immediately asked for the recipe knowing that I would make them some day. The saltines that I used were the multi-grain crackers to make it a bit more healthier than just using the traditional saltines. Firecrackers are good for parties, travel, or just a good snack at the office. ENJOY!
Firecrackers
Ingredients:
1 box saltine crackers
3/4 cup canola oil
2 Tablespoons Crushed Red Pepper
1 package hidden valley ranch
1/2 teaspoon of dill weed
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
1 box saltine crackers
3/4 cup canola oil
2 Tablespoons Crushed Red Pepper
1 package hidden valley ranch
1/2 teaspoon of dill weed
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
Preparation:
In large bowl mix all ingredients except the crackers
Line crackers upright in a 9×9 pan
Pour the mix over the crackers and let it stand for 15 minutes
Remove the crackers; pour the left over mixture back into the bowl
Rotate the crackers and place them back in the pan and pour the remaining mixture on top
Repeat until all wet mixture has been soaked up
Store in a zip lock bag

Sounds great! I love crushed red pepper on just about anything.
