Crispy cuban egg rolls

crispy cuban egg rolls

One month ago I was attending a food conference in Miami, Florida. I was super excited to be spending some much needed quality time with my food blogging friends as well as immerse myself with the cuban culture. Needless to say the weather did not cooperate with me on this trip since it rained 4 out of the 5 days we were there. Most of the attendees had major problems flying in due to tornado warnings going off throughout the day. The one day it was sunny we were all catching sun rays on the beach.

My must haves on this trip included an authentic hot cup of cuban coffee and a cuban sandwich and to spend time in South Beach.

On the night we arrived we went to dinner in a hotel along South Beach. We all decided to do several small dishes instead of just ordering three main ones along with fruity mojito drinks. One of my favorites from this restaurant was the cuban sandwiches on a stick.

Catching on now……

Crispy cuban egg rolls

Ever since I’ve arrived back home I kept thinking about those crispy cuban egg rolls that I devoured on my first night in Miami on the rainy beach. These sandwiches/egg rolls are easy to assemble and fun to eat.

My trip to Miami was phenomenal and the food was the best part. Every restaurant we went to rocked with the food, service and atmosphere. I’m hoping that these crispy cuban egg rolls will rock your world as well.
