3/4 cup brown sugar
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup flour
3 Tbsp milk
2 tsp vanilla
Sprinkles
Preparation:
Cookie Dough
In large bowl or mixer combine the butter and sugar
Mix until it becomes creamy and smooth
Stir in butter, vanilla, salt, and flour and beat until all is incorporated
Stir in the chocolate chips
With an ice cream scoop or regular scooper make little round balls with the cookie dough
Place on wax paper and place in the freezer until ready to make the cupcakes
Cupcakes
Make the cupcakes according to box
Line the cupcake trays and fill only 2/3 full with the batter
Place one frozen cookie dough directly on top and in the center (don’t mash it down it will fall into the batter while cooking)
Cooking times will vary depending on the type of tray used
Frosting
In large mixing bowl combine the butter and sugar and blend until creamy
Beat in the powdered sugar and then salt, milk, flour and vanilla extract until smooth (add more depending on the consistency that you want)
Make sure cupcakes are cool before frosting so that it does not melt
Makes 24 cupcakes and you can top with sprinkles

I wanna see the cookie dough! LOL these are too cute, esp with the great job you did with the frosting and the sprinkles.
Love this. My son would die for these. Great job!
I think that cupcakes are great for kids because they are easy serving sized all ready. Plus they can carry them around or maybe that was just something I felt the need to do when I ate as a child.
I was planning on showing a picture of the center but I got a little carried away at the party and then they were all gone.
I made something like this for a friend last year.. they were a huge hit so I’m sure your nephew loved them! I mean who doesn’t love eating cookie dough??
Love your “cover shot!” (The recipe, too!)
