As I’m sitting down thinking about yesterday’s current events I stop to ponder on what characteristics I possess and the ones I don’t excel at as well as others.
We all have this feeling or notion of what we perceive of ourselves. Until recently I would have considered myself a pretty patient and organized person. Now with a change in my day-to-day dynamics I’m starting to second-guess myself.
I’ve always been good with staying organized, but lately I feel like things are slowly slipping away from reach in my daily activities. Maybe it’s the addition of my nephew or the thought that in two months we will be welcoming in another baby. Don’t get me wrong because both kids are blessings and I wouldn’t have it any other way. However, these few things have really been trying my patience.
Patience…
It’s something I pray and strive for on a daily basis. Yet, I notice at times lately that I tend to lose all patience and I have to remove myself from the situation at hand. What you don’t see is me crying in the corner like a baby because I’m so hormonal and I feel like I’m losing these battles. I so wish I could just blame it all on the pregnancy.
Now you may be asking yourself where in the world is she going to tie in Caramel Macchiato Pancakes into this story? Well let’s just say that I had to regroup this evening and come up with something easy and that meant a quick and easy dinner option for my family. I mean who doesn’t love breakfast for dinner or as some people say “brinner.” It’s a win-win combination for the kids and my husband. Plus if you pair the pancakes with a side of bacon it’s a double win.
These pancakes were paired with International Delight’s Caramel Macchiato Creamer. Both the pancakes and syrup have the cream inside the recipe and it adds just a hint of sweetness to both dishes without it completely overpowering it. I can’t wait to see what you think!

I LOVE the caramel macchiato flavoring. It’s so delicious! I actually used it in a milkshake and I about fell head over heels in love. I have a feeling it would be slammin’ in these pancakes….yum!
