Creamy Avocado Dressing

I am sooooo out of it today.  Not sure if I'm coming down with a nasty cold or just those ugly allergies.  I can only breathe out of one nostril.  WHY!?  I hate blowing my nose especially in front of co-workers.  It sounds like an elephant blowing out of its trunk and everyone stops to stare at me.

For lunch I proceeded to make a nice healthy soup in the microwave.  After reading the directions it said I needed to remove the soup from the container and into a microwavable one.  WHAT!!!!  I thought all soup was microwavable if it came in one of those small round containers.  So, I had to think quick of what I was going to do and I remembered that I had a plastic bowl that I would eat my cereal in.  Nothing could go wrong because it was just 2 minutes in the microwave.  WRONG!!! My bowl melted in the microwave and I had nothing to eat for lunch.  Luckily for me I have a Subway Restaurant nearby for emergencies like this one.  Not only could I not breathe out of both nostrils but I had to listen to my co-workers harass me about being a food blogger who screwed up a bowl of soup in the microwave.  The only excuse I had was that I don't really use microwaves that often.......

Tonight I decided to do something simple just in case by bad luck continues.  You can use this dressing as a dip as well and if you like it a little runny just add some more buttermilk.

ENJOY!

Creamy Avocado Dressing

Ingredients:
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp accent
1/4 tsp onion powder
a pinch of garlic powder
1 lg avocado, ripe
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/3 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Preparation:
Beat all ingredients in a medium size bowl until smooth.  Then place in refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.

*If you like your dressing real creamy add 1-2 Tbsp more of the buttermilk.
